How I Got Here

Since I was a kid, I was dead set on becoming a journalist. I've wanted to be someone who connects people to the world through vivid stories, new discoveries, and voices that deserve to be heard.

However, life had other plans. Through the collaborative environment of my college, I began working on projects that allowed people to navigate a new reality rather than just being told about it. This led me to the product space. While it might seem like a drastic pivot, I've found that the two roles share many similarities.

Great journalist and great product manager demand the same things: relentless curiosity, a sense of responsibility, and genuine compassion. Both are about unearthing what's unspoken, solving for what truly matters, and crafting a narrative that moves people. I've realized that I'm still a storyteller, but I just traded the page for the product.
